This one was partially inspired by the work of Jakub Rozalski. I really like his work and wanted to do something in a similar vein.

This is a scratch built mech made from a variety of found items and cast resin pieces. The legs are made from part of a sprinkler and cupboard door hinges.
I wanted to try and do something sculptural so I incorporated alot of sculpted pieces in this model which I cold cast using brass powder to create a nice metallic finish. I used some ornate buttons I had to add some of the detail.
I also cast up some long strips with small acorn nuts so I could add lots of detail across the model.
Someone called it a ’40k grain silo of doom’ which I quite liked!
Here’s a video build series.
